About This Piece

A venue map builder that lives inside Salesforce, right next to the guest list.

  • Upload the venue’s floor plan, draw the sections over it, and lay down rows of seats: click where a row starts, where it bows and where it ends, and the seats space themselves along the curve.
  • Every seat has a status (open, held, assigned or unavailable), and an assigned seat points at a real Contact.
  • The roster view labels who sits where, straight off the map.
  • A finished map can be saved as a template, so the next event starts from the last one.

The real one is a Lightning Web Component that saves events, sections, rows and seats as Salesforce records. This demo runs in your browser with a made-up venue and guest list.
