About This Piece

Lead lists arrive in every shape. This importer takes them as they come and only lets clean data into Salesforce.

  1. Drop in a CSV. Columns map themselves, whatever the headers say (“Cell”, “Business Name”, “ST”).
  2. Every row runs through the matching rules (see the Rules Engine) and is checked against the rest of the file.
  3. You review the results: clean rows, duplicates, rows that need a decision and records to update, each with the reason.
  4. Commit creates the new leads, fills in or merges the matches, and can hand call tasks to the owners of matched records.

The real one stages rows in Salesforce and dedupes them with Batch Apex. This demo does it all in your browser with a made-up list and CRM.
